Did you even read the article? Just to clarify, is “maga” the new thing now for easy generalizations about anyone who doesn’t follow the same, tired whine wagon? And (if I was, which I’m not) that makes us all deadly killers right? Are we out to get you too? The author repeatedly insults, demeans, and belittles children she clearly knows nothing about. If she can dish it out, why am I cruel for calling it out? They’re children. She’s an adult. And a teacher at that. And if “maga” “is the new insult for your fan base, that’s cool I guess, though you should be aware it makes no sense whatsoever and I’ve never once heard of someone taking that as an insult lol. But, considering I’ve never said “maga” once in my life until this silly post, nor have I voted for Trump (not that it matters since you’ve already made your decision), I’m glad to hear how much better you know my outlook on America than I do. In fact, you, like the author, have decided we’re a bunch of dangerous, cold-blooded killers conspiring to “get you” all and ruin education forever!
Could that be more of a narcissistic view? Geez. I’ve made my views toward condescending, judgmental teachers who don’t like their kids very clear here. Correct. If that’s cruel, well, sorry. Life is cruel. She’s an adult. She can handle it and she will get over it. I’m sure her kids wouldn’t appreciate reading this post insulting their families and them and their opinions and calling them dangerous murderers. And I’m glad she’s leaving the profession. I can say that pretty confidently being an actual teacher in the profession myself.
But who am I? I’m sure I’m wrong somehow, and my small mind can’t grasp the complexities of your superior, well-executed and poignant “maga” generalizations and “maga kills everyone” syndrome, so please disregard this….I can only hope to be a part of that “elite” class of basic educated adults one day to which the original author subscribes from her throne (at home without a job, mind you.)
